Breast Reconstruction Education Evening
This October 16th is Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day
You are invited to our Breast Reconstruction Education Evening.
Learn more about your breast reconstruction options after breast cancer. Leading reconstructive and plastic surgeons discuss the facts and offer advice. Open to anyone interested, whether you are thinking about breast reconstruction for yourself, have a loved one who is, have had complications after your reconstruction, or just want to know more. Hosted by Breast Cancer Foundation NZ in collaboration with Counties Manukau DHB.
Speakers are followed by light refreshments with an opportunity to network with each other and speak one-on-one with the experts.
International BRA Day promotes education, awareness and access for women who may wish to consider reconstruction after surgery for breast cancer. Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day was first launched in 2011 and now occurs annually during breast cancer awareness month, on the third Wednesday of October.
