BCFNZ relies on awesome people like you to help us increase breast cancer awareness and save kiwi lives. Fortunately, there isn't just one way to show your support. A number of events run throughout the year that you can get involved with to make zero deaths from cancer a reality. We can't do it alone, but together, we can make a difference.

Auckland Round the Bays

Take part in this event for BCFNZ and you can join our exclusive team of Pink Ribbon Active fundraisers.

When you sign up as a Pink Ribbon Active fundraiser you’ll be joining a group of people who are passionate about supporting the 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer everyday in NZ. Raise over $150 and we’ll send you a Pink Ribbon Active t-shirt for you to wear proudly on race day!

The money raised from this event will enable us to support women of all ages around New Zealand, helping to reduce their risk of developing and dying of breast cancer.

Please consider taking up this challenge to help women facing their own challenge. Its easy to do, we have listed the steps below.

Auckland Marathon

The Auckland Marathon is coming back for 2017! This year it will be on the 29th of October.

Taupo Great Lake Relay

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is the official charity of the 2017 Traffic Management NZ Great Lake Relay on the 18th of February.

Take part in this event for BCFNZ and you can join our exclusive team of Pink Ribbon Active fundraisers. When you sign up as a Pink Ribbon Active fundraiser you will get sent a copy of the Pink Ribbon Active logo which you can print on your t-shirt to proudly show your support!

Don’t miss being part of the Annual Great Lake Relay around the largest lake in Australasia – Lake Taupo. Each team consists of 8 to 18 members, either running or walking the entire 155km around Lake Taupo.

The Length of the Lake event caters for teams of five to eight or solo competitors who can run or walk to complete the eight legs from Pukawa on the southern end of the lake back to Taupo.

The money raised from this event will enable us to support women of all ages around New Zealand, helping to reduce their risk of dying of breast cancer.

NZ House & Garden Tours

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is thrilled to be the chosen charity for the NZ House & Garden Tours. In 2017, the tours will be held in February, March and April in 5 beautiful locations around the country. The tours give New Zealanders the chance to step inside the pages of NZ House & Garden and experience some of the country’s most beautiful homes: all for a good cause! With a stunning mix of homes on show in each of the five regions (Hawke’s Bay, Tauranga, Christchurch, Wanaka and Auckland) there is something for everyone. Purchase your tickets here.

Tour Dates:

Volunteer at the NZ House & Garden Tours 2017

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ also need volunteers to help us run these successful tours which help to raise vital funds for the Foundation. Volunteers are needed for 4-5 hours for either a morning or an afternoon shift. As a thank you for their time and assistance, volunteers will be provided with a copy of NZ House & Garden magazine and a ticket to visit the houses on the tour during the other half of the day!
